Sad news is that Princess, my little white friend and tormenter for 21 years, went to kitty heaven last night. She had a good, long run, and I will miss her a lot.

I know I've said it before, but I want to do better at keeping this site up to date...Current updates are:  Kitchen remodeling is finally completed (and there was great rejoicing!).  Vince and Sandy have had a baby since my last post--name is Myles Arthur...I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how to!  

Other than that, life is at it's usual frenetic pace that is year-end project completion time at work!   

Being a homeowner can be fun, except when remodeling, and coming home to find that the lawn demons (AKA the HOA's low-budget landscaping company) have sliced a 14" wide hole through your new sod/3-week old grass seedlings.

Went to another flooring place tonight looking at options. Bad news is a pattern I totally loved came in a tile size too big (18"), good news is I found three other things I liked: two cork and one tile. So I currently have about four styles that I can not only live with, but actually really like! Now to decide...these things must be done delicately, or you hurt the spell!

Time to go shmooze with the vagabonds in the basement...
